I have experience of working in the public health sector in therapeutic communities; in particular, I have over two years of experience working at an addiction rehabilitation centre. I have also worked with children living in care, and I used to volunteer at a local LGBTQ support service. Additionally, I have been working as a counsellor providing individual counselling for adults (aged 18 to 70+) for over two years.

As part of my clinical psychology training, I have gained in-depth knowledge of the psychiatric diagnosis system; I am aware of the common symptoms of all mental health conditions, although I believe that a diagnosis cannot encapsulate the complexity of an individual. When working with a client, I always focus on them as whole beings; not on their diagnosis.

I welcome people from all walks of life; I will not make assumptions about you based on your sex, age, colour, race, disability, sexuality, social, economic or immigration status, lifestyle, religious or cultural beliefs.
